Digital Terrestrial Television:

Towards Digital Switchover

A new course from the University of Surrey

17 May 2005

Terrestrial television in the UK is steadily moving towards the point when all TV services will be digital. Planning for the changes is highly complex and already well developed. This 1-day course will inform delegates about the decisions already taken, describe the impact on transmitter networks and equipment in the home, and discuss the remaining steps to complete switch-over. Speakers close to the action will explain the processes involved and the technical implications for all parties including broadcasters, CE manufacturers and consumers.
